Hello beautiful backers!
Greetings from Mexico! Taking a break here from all the hard work back at Fun Size Central to create a little space for more exciting things to come in 2022 - including a wave of rewards fulfillment in January.
But for now…
I just wanted to send out a short message today because although I know not everyone celebrates the same holidays, I also know that this season can be extra tough if you’re feeling lost, lonely, or somehow stressed or disappointed by the way things are going, in the world or in your own world. Add to our own personal struggles the ongoing stress of a global pandemic and other issues on the world stage and it can be tough to feel the love and holiday cheer everyone seems to be putting out there.
I said it in the video I made for this Kickstarter campaign - I wrote I Am Fun Size largely to let as many people as possible know that no matter where they were or what they were going through, whether they were with a ton of people or isolated, that they weren’t alone. And I want to remind anyone who might be reading this that today and every day, there is a world of people here ready to cheer you on and let you know it may be your journey, but you don’t have to do it alone. Look around you - whether physically if you can or online if you’re on your own for the day - for those who celebrate who you are and who are ready to cheer you on as you figure out this wonderful, wild, and often messy journey. You can connect in more ways than just being in the same room - and sometimes it’s just sending a sweet text to someone who least expects it that makes all the difference.
